I’m just now getting a chance to read this. So good! I’ve been wanting to write a “defining word” piece, but I can’t decide on a word 😆 Your part about being at the ER multiple times reminded me of when my husband’s grandmother told me (in reference to the ER), “they knew us over there, we showed up all the time.” She raised 5 boys 🤪
really enjoyed this Stacy! reminds me of all the sweetness and all the stretching motherhood brings. and i just love reading a fellow montanan-mom, even though we’ve already established my life is far from rural 😂

Ha! There was a stretch of a year or so that we were there about 5 times I think. Thankfully it’s been a minute. 😆
Can I have a snack?! Oh my, yes! Love all of this and your writing. Thanks for sharing your own beauty of motherhood!
So many snacks. ;) Thanks, Kim!
Such a rich picture of the multifaceted dimensions of mothering. Thank you for this beautiful essay, Stacy 💗
Thank you, Erin!
I love this. Also “you’re doing great, Mom... go a little faster” is 💯🤣
Kids! Haha. So honest. ;)
