Oof, sorry about such a crazy week, but I can definitely relate! Different stories maybe but 🫠 nonetheless. Congratulations on the book news! How cool!!
Sheesh, what a week indeed! Hope the kiddos are still healing. The photos of the calves are so good friend— and I also can say I’ve never seen a pile of manure bigger than a tractor so look how much I’m learning from you! 😉 I love your life and love that you share it!! So proud of you for your essay publication too!!! Xo
I so feel with you, a few years ago our daughter caught her thumb in a log splitter and lost the tip of it. An awful experience and there was no way I could even look at it without my stomach rolling, nor be the driver to the hospital. She was so brave about it all and I remember her just casually telling us to put a band aid on it (likely in shock) and now likes to look at photos that she took of it. She wants to be a nurse and that certainly doesn't come from me! Hope everyone heals up well there!
You're winter photos have been so beautiful, I'm so over the deep cold here!
Always love your writing and glimpses into your farm life! What a week! I haven't had to do many ER trips yet but they are never fun. Also so cool about the book!!! It's definitely exciting!
Wow, your life is so dull. 😆 I am glad everyone is recovering! I think I can handle my kids’ blood better than seeing a calf with placenta on its face, haha.
Stacy!! all of your pictures are straight up gorgeous! and that baby calve that looks just like his mama 😍 Also, I love that you made note of the fact that you had already been to town for groceries that day. I would have felt the same way about that! Love getting a peek into your life. Hoping the temps warm up from the negatives for y’all and congrats on the book!
Thanks, Katie!! So much driving! But that's always true. 😂 The negative temps are getting old, for sure. It's supposed to be warming up today, I think! The kids have had inside recess for WEEKS.
Stacy!!! Oh wow, the ER visits. 😭 Praying for you all and for the chaos to calm down. I’ve been there with the stitches and glue and antibiotics, and it is not for the feint of heart.
Oh man—why do all the medical emergencies seem to happen all at once?! I’m glad everyone is ok. Also, my kids LOVE Wallace & Gromit. We’re going to have to check these out!
Oh, friend, we’ve done the two different kids to the ER in the same week, *and* our dog bit Ellie’s cheek when she was like eight months old. I felt so much solidarity with this! Good job getting through a crazy week 😬👏🏻
This makes me feel better. :) The glue came off Nora's face this morning, and I'm nervous about how it will turn out. But I guess there's nothing I can worry about now; it is what it is.
Congratulations on the book piece!! That is so much fun to see your name!
Thank you!

Thanks, Katie! 💛 So much poo. Haha.
Stacy! Oh my goodness! I'm sorry sorry about all these blood situations!
Thanks, Molly!

Ugh that is awful! I would have passed out for sure. Haha. We finally came out of our deep freeze, and the snow is melting!
Hope all the injuries are healing well! Kids just love to keep us on our toes, don’t they?
And congrats on the book—how exciting!
Thank you, Laura!! We’re hitting the vitamin E oil hard over here. 😂

Thanks so much, Kym!

Haha! The placenta is way less gross than a gouged knee with blood. 😂

I guess it's best to get them done and out of the way? Haha. Let me know if you watch them!
Thank you so much for sharing, Stacy! I hope you enjoy! 😍
You're welcome, Lara!
Thank you for the shout-out, Stacy!! So grateful to have you cheering me on.
Can't wait to read it!

Nice zinnias
says the woman who held an excited child on her lap and ordered eight kinds of heirloom tomato seeds yesterday.
It's a cheap mistake, I said.
Haha I love it! I
